That extra loft, combined with an R-value of 6.0 tested to ASTM F3340-18, earns it a four-season rating, but at a cost: 1480 g in the regular 183 x 51 cm size, among the heavier pads in the lineup. Two TwinLock valves, rather than the single valve on simpler models, move air roughly three times faster for both inflation and deflation, which matters more for car campers packing up quickly than for backpackers optimizing grams. The top surface uses a 50D polyester knit with a brushed, soft-touch finish rather than the ripstop found on lighter pads, prioritizing comfort and quiet over minimal weight — Therm-a-Rest rates it quiet during sleep, a detail that matters in shared tents.
