Montane Trailblazer LT 28

The Trailblazer LT 28 carries over the fully taped, seam-sealed build from the smaller LT 20 but adds a hip belt for the extra volume — and unlike the LT 20, it's genuinely padded with pockets, while still holding the pack at 385 g (13.8 g/l), the lightest weight-to-volume ratio in the whole Trailblazer line. The fully sealed construction means no separate pack cover is needed, a real convenience for fastpacking where fewer pieces of kit means less to manage in bad weather. The RAPTOR Fly Lite 40D sil-nylon ripstop fabric is thinner than the 70D materials on the larger Trailblazers, trading abrasion resistance for weight. The main compartment closes via roll-top, side mesh pockets plus hip belt and shoulder strap pockets stay reachable on the move, and a daisy chain with elastic bungee holds extra gear on the outside. The adjustable back length (45–53 cm) matches the Trailblazer 32. Montane backs it with a four-year warranty, a sign of confidence in the fabric despite its low denier.
