The Big Wild 95L is the largest and most rugged pack in the Superior Wilderness Designs lineup, built for expedition loads of 40 to 65 lbs (roughly 18–29 kg). Its carrying system uses twin 7075 aluminum stays and a free-floating padded hip belt that pivots with hip motion under heavy loads. The body is made from Ultra400X Ecopak, a laminate with a UHMWPE face fabric, keeping the pack water-resistant and abrasion-resistant even at this volume.
At 95 litres it weighs 1134 g, working out to just under 12 g per litre — a relatively low figure for a pack of this capacity, putting it among the lighter options in its load-carrying class. A roll-top closure and two side pockets make up the feature set, with no unnecessary extras added. It's built for longer expeditions and multi-day treks carrying heavy loads, suiting hikers who need to combine high carrying capacity with a comparatively low pack weight rather than casual weekend trips.
