The Seedhouse SL2 is Big Agnes's long-running classic two-person dome tent, built on DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles with a silicone/PU-coated 20D silnylon fly and floor, both rated to 1200 mm — lighter and more water-resistant-per-gram than PU-only polyester fabrics, though silnylon sags more with moisture and needs periodic re-tensioning. Trail weight comes to 1698 g (1530 g minimum without stakes and sacks), giving 849 g per person, with a single door and single vestibule covering 0.65 m². That single-door layout is the tent's main livability trade-off against dual-door designs like the Salt Creek: one occupant has to climb over the other to exit. Eleven aluminum stakes, reflective guylines for nighttime visibility, factory-taped seams, and full mesh on the inner body round out a fairly complete three-season package, with a footprint available separately.
