The Durston X-Mid Pro 1 (Nylon Floor) is a lower-cost take on the 1-person X-Mid Pro 1, swapping the DCF floor for 15D silnylon with a PU/silicone coating — a change that lowers the price compared to the all-DCF version while nudging weight up to a 485 g minimum and 550 g trail weight. The fly remains Dyneema Composite Fabric rated to a 15,000 mm hydrostatic head, so rain resistance stays high even with the nylon floor. The single-wall design pitches on one trekking pole, and a 1.9 m² floor plus two vestibules totaling 2 m² (a 105% vestibule ratio) give the occupant and gear decent room despite the compact 229×81 cm footprint. Two peak vents, one adjustable, assist airflow, and pitching needs just five DAC J-stakes. It's built for hikers who want the DCF fly's low weight but don't want to pay for a DCF floor, which is more puncture-prone — the nylon floor holds up better against abrasion on rocky or rough ground.
