Hilleberg Anjan 3

The Hilleberg Anjan 3 is a 3-person tunnel tent from Hilleberg's lightweight Red Label range, built for snow-free 3-season trips rather than winter conditions. At 2000 g packaged weight it works out to roughly 667 g per person, competitive for a 3-berth tent with a single entrance and one vestibule for gear and cooking. Like other Hilleberg tunnels, it needs to be pegged out at both ends to hold its shape and is best pitched with the tail into the prevailing wind - it is not freestanding. The single entrance and single vestibule mean one occupant has to move past the others to get in or out, and there's only one sheltered spot to cook or store boots, which matters if all three people want to move independently. It suits three hikers or a family travelling light on established trails in fair-weather months, not groups heading into snow or expecting to spend a lot of time crammed under one vestibule.
