Hilleberg Helags 3

The Hilleberg Helags 3 is a lightweight 3-person tunnel tent for snow-free seasons, built from Kerlon 1000 fabric on 9 mm poles and weighing 2300 g packaged. Two vestibules and two doors mean each occupant (or pair, in a 3-person layout) has independent access without climbing over gear or other people, and the mesh inner doors stay open for constant airflow rather than sealing the inner completely. As a double-wall design with pitch-together (unified) setup, the inner and fly go up as one unit, which speeds pitching in bad weather compared with separately pitched inner tents. A footprint is available separately, and the connectable inner lets it link with compatible Hilleberg tents for shared basecamp setups. Its 3-season rating and tunnel shape need staked, non-freestanding pitching and are less suited to genuinely deep winter or above-treeline exposure than Hilleberg's dedicated 4-season models — this is a tent for spring-to-autumn trekking rather than winter mountaineering.
