Three DAC NFL Pressfit Prebend poles replace the two heavier Velocity HD poles, and a 20D polyester ripstop fly with a 30D nylon ripstop floor (both silicone-PU coated) are substantially thinner than the standard version's 68D fabrics. The 1200 mm waterproof rating on both fly and floor is lower than the classic tent's 1200/2000 mm split, leaving less margin during sustained rain or on a soggy campsite. Two D-doors and two vestibules totaling 1.4 m² keep it practical for two users, and a partial-mesh inner tent balances ventilation with warmth retention. At 773 g per person, it's a sensible compromise for pairs thru-hiking, where the weight splits across two packs.
