Mountain Hardwear Meridian 3 Tent

Scaled up from the 2-person Meridian, the Mountain Hardwear Meridian 3 Tent is a freestanding, double-wall dome sized for three and rated for 3-season use, extending to backpacking or car-camping. Two aluminum poles support a full-mesh inner tent – more airflow than a partial-mesh design, at the cost of a bit more warmth retention on cold nights – topped by a 68D 210T ripstop polyester fly with 1500 mm PU coating. Floor area comes to 3.87 m² (224 x 170 cm) with a 114 cm peak height and two vestibules totaling 1.74 m², working out to 1.29 m² of floor per person and 5.61 m² of total living space – roomier than the 2-person model per occupant. The bathtub floor matches the fly's 68D 1500 mm PU-coated fabric, and five interior pockets keep small gear organized. Trail weight is 2467 g, rising to 2918 g packed – heavy for backpacking but reasonable for a shelter meant to also serve car-camping duty. Unlike the Meridian 2, the footprint here is sold separately rather than included.
