MSR Hubba Hubba 1-Person Backpacking Tent

The MSR Hubba Hubba is a freestanding, one-person, three-season, double-wall tent built around a single DAC NFL pole (8.7 mm), pitching inner and fly together as one unit and standing on its own without stakes – those are only needed for full tension and guylines. The fly is solution-dyed 20D ripstop nylon with a silicone/PU coating rated to 1200 mm, and the bathtub floor, matching 20D nylon with a PU coating, holds water to 1800 mm, above what many lightweight tents offer. At 1.23 kg (1.07 kg minimum trail weight), it's heavier than someone chasing an extreme-lightweight solo setup might expect, but that weight buys real features: full-perimeter mesh, one roomy 0.74 m2 vestibule, two interior pockets, a gear loft, and rain gutters over the door. Floor area of 1.82 m2 and a 99 cm peak height give one person solid living space for multi-day trekking and thru-hiking, even if it's not competing in the ultralight-weight bracket.
