The Naturehike Mongar 2 is a freestanding, 3-season, 2-person dome tent with two aluminum poles, two doors, and two vestibules — a layout that lets both occupants get in and out independently without climbing over each other. Both fly and floor use 20D silicone-coated nylon rated to a matching 4000mm hydrostatic head on each side, a more balanced setup than tents where the floor significantly outperforms the roof. The inner combines 20D nylon with B3 mesh and is fully mesh-paneled, so ventilation stays good on warmer nights. At 1800g total, that's 900g per person — a reasonable figure for a freestanding dual-door tent, though single-door models in Naturehike's lineup go lighter. A 2.84m² floor and 100cm peak give two people standard room, and ten stakes is on the modest side for a two-door, two-vestibule tent — exposed sites may call for extras. It packs to 46×14cm with a footprint included. The Mongar 2 suits pairs backpacking or thru-hiking who value the convenience of two independent entrances over shaving the last few hundred grams.
