Naturehike Cloud UP 3

Naturehike Cloud UP 3 is a freestanding double-wall dome tent for three people, built on aluminum poles with a pitch-inner-first setup — the mesh inner body goes up first, then the fly is thrown over. Both fly and floor use 20D ripstop nylon with a silicone coating rated to 4000mm hydrostatic head, a solid figure for 3-season use in sustained rain, though ultralight cuben designs push higher. The inner is full mesh, so ventilation is good in warm conditions, but expect condensation management to matter more on cold nights. Two doors and two vestibules give three occupants separate entry points and gear storage — useful on multi-day trips where wet boots and packs need somewhere to sit outside the sleeping area. Total weight of 1814g works out to 605g per person, a competitive if not class-leading figure for a freestanding tent this size. It packs to 51×18cm and ships with a footprint. The Cloud UP 3 suits group backpacking and thru-hiking where splitting shelter weight across a party pays off; solo ultralight hikers will generally look toward lighter, non-freestanding shelters instead.
