The Outdoor Vitals Fortius 2P is a single-wall, A-frame two-person tent pitched with trekking poles instead of dedicated poles — the non-freestanding design needs stakes (8 are included) driven into firm, level ground to hold its shape. Fly and floor share the same 15D silnylon with a Si/PU coating rated to a 1500mm water column, and a partial mesh panel handles airflow without needing a separate inner layer. Two doors and two vestibules address the classic drawback of one-person A-frame shelters — in the two-person version, neither occupant has to climb over the other to get in or out. A 2.73 m² floor area at 978 g works out to 489 g and 1.37 m² per person, a solid space-to-weight ratio (space efficiency 2.79) given it keeps both doors and vestibules. Seams are factory taped, and the tent sits in the 3-season category — not built for snow load or heavy wind, but for standard 3-season backpacking and thru-hiking, it's one of the lighter two-person tents in the lineup.
