The Outdoor Vitals Dominion is a semi-freestanding, double-wall 3-season tent for two, pitched inner-first over 9mm DAC NSL aluminum poles. Trail weight — packing only what's needed once you leave the trailhead — comes to 1232 g, while the full packaged weight with stakes and stuff sacks is 1816 g, splitting to roughly 616 g and 908 g per person respectively. Weather protection comes from a 15D silicone/PU-coated ripstop nylon fly rated to 1200mm and a 30D bathtub floor rated to 3000mm, backed by partial mesh paneling for ventilation. Two doors and two vestibules let both occupants enter and store gear independently, a meaningful convenience over single-door two-person tents on multi-day trips. Eight stakes and guylines are included; a footprint is sold separately. Positioned for backpacking and thru-hiking where trail weight matters but a fully freestanding, storm-proof structure isn't required, this tent trades some pitch flexibility for the weight savings of a semi-freestanding design — expect to stake it out properly rather than free-pitch it on hard ground.
