Hyperlite Mountain Gear is an American brand founded in 2010 that specialises in premium ultralight gear made from Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF). All products are hand-sewn at their workshop in Biddeford, Maine. Their backpacks (Southwest, Junction, Prism) and tents (Dirigo, Unbound) are among the lightest and most durable on the market. Dyneema is extremely lightweight, waterproof, and strong - but also expensive, which is reflected in HMG's premium pricing. For ultralight purists, HMG is often the 'holy grail' of gear.
