The Unbound 2 is a double-wall ultralight tent for two people, distinguished from the pyramid-style UltaMid line by its separate fly-and-inner tarp-tent construction. The fly is Dyneema Composite Fabric DCF 0.55, the floor a stiffer DCF 0.96 bathtub with 20.3 cm walls, and the inner combines partial No-See-Um mesh with solid panels. It pitches on trekking poles and has two vestibules and four doors — a separate entry for each occupant on either side — which avoids climbing over a tent-mate to get in or out. At 624 g and 2.6 m² (1.3 m² per person), it runs more compact with a lower 122 cm peak height, a typical trade-off for thru-hiking setups that trim both volume and weight. Ten tie-out points with factory-taped seams and two interior pockets round out a shelter rated for 3-season use — suited to thru-hikers who value fast pitching and low weight without giving up a separate inner compartment.
