Liteway Biggie Tarp

The Liteway Biggie Tarp is a square ultralight shelter made from 20D Silpoly rated to 2000 mm hydrostatic head, measuring 294 × 294 cm — sized for one person with gear or two people pitched tight. At 400 g it undercuts the LiteOutdoors Silnylon Tarp above by close to 50 g despite a similar waterproof rating, reflecting Silpoly's typical edge over silnylon in weight and wet-stretch resistance, though it tends to be somewhat less abrasion-resistant. Eight Line-loc attachment points support both A-frame and pyramid pitches, more flexibility than a basic two-point ridgeline tarp, and guylines are included, so less to source separately. As with most silicone-coated fabrics, seams are left unsealed from the factory and need silicone sealant before first use — a short but necessary step. Offered in gray and olive, it fits hikers wanting a compact, light, versatile pitch for one to two people who are comfortable with trekking-pole setups over a self-standing tent.
