Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3

The Copper Spur UL3 is the three-person member of Big Agnes's well-known UL family, built to the same formula as the smaller UL2: a freestanding, double-wall dome on two DAC Featherlite aluminum poles that pitch together, so the fly and inner body go up in one motion. Fly and floor use 15D nylon with 20D ripstop reinforcement and HyperBead™ treatment, the floor takes a conventional bathtub shape, and the inner tent is fully mesh for airflow. At a minimum weight of 1,520 g (1,720 g packaged) spread over a 3.8 m² floor, that works out to 573 g per person — a solid number for a three-person tent shared across a backpacking or thru-hiking group. Two vestibules totalling 1.6 m² keep packs and boots out of the sleeping area, two vents with rain gutters manage condensation, and 11 Dirt Dagger UL stakes anchor it in wind. The 53 × 13 cm packed size fits into most backpacking packs without a fight.
