Zpacks DupleXL

The Zpacks DupleXL is an extended XL version of the popular two-person Duplex tent, built for taller hikers — the floor measures 243.8 × 111.8 cm, noticeably longer than standard. It's a single-wall A-frame shelter pitched with two trekking poles, non-freestanding and stake-dependent. Both fly and bathtub floor are Dyneema Composite Fabric, with a full-mesh inner in Ultralight Nano-Noseeum mesh and factory-taped seams. The tent weighs 589 g standard and 574 g minimal, which against a 2.72 m² floor and four storm doors with two vestibules (1.49 m² total) works out to 295 g and 1.36 m² of floor per person — a solid ratio for a two-person tent. A 121.9 cm peak height won't let you stand, but sitting up is comfortable. Four doors mean both occupants can get in and out without climbing over each other, a real convenience for couples on longer trips. The non-freestanding design and the lack of an included footprint are the usual trade-offs of ultralight DCF tents — you need solid ground for stakes, and any groundsheet has to be bought separately.
