The Zpacks Hexamid Solo Plus Tent is an ultralight, frameless single-person pyramid shelter pitched with one trekking pole set to 132 cm. The construction is seam-free; the 0.55 oz/sqyd DCF fly alone weighs 275 g, and adding the detachable bathtub floor in heavier 1.0 oz/sqyd DCF brings the total to 405 g. The inner has partial mesh, the floor measures 213×107 cm with equal head and foot width (71 cm), peak height is 132 cm, and a single 0.4 m² vestibule holds a pack and boots. Side-opening YKK-zip doors, eight stakes, and dedicated guylines round out the setup; a footprint and repair kit are both included. The modular design — pitch the fly alone as a 275 g tarp, or add the floor for full protection — is the main appeal for ultralight trips where shelter weight gets tuned to conditions. Seam-free construction also simplifies waterproofing upkeep, since there are no taped-seam failure points to monitor.
