Zpacks Offset Solo

The Zpacks Offset Solo is the 1-person version of the asymmetric Offset line — a single-wall DCF trekking-pole tent with a floor tapering from 91 cm at the head to 76 cm at the foot over a 239 cm length. Peak height is 122 cm, and total weight is 506 g (496 g in the minimum configuration). Despite being a solo tent, the two vestibules add up to 1.16 m² — 53% of the 3.34 m² total living space — an unusually generous ratio geared more toward stashing a pack and gear than sleeping a second person. The inner is full nano-noseeum mesh with two pockets, two peak vents assist airflow, and eight stakes plus a stuff sack are included. The non-freestanding design needs solid ground anchoring, and no footprint is available for this model. With a 2.18 m² floor for one person, it's a solid choice for solo thru-hiking where the oversized vestibules are worth more than the little extra weight they add.
